Welcome to my page:

(40th Reunion Profile)
Well…now…OK…here we go…40 years…wow. Let’s see what I have been up to. I wrote what I thought was a really clever Bio a couple of months ago and I asked my daughter, Laura age 32, for her input and she said “hem.. haw..uh, well I guess that’s ok.” so, that was scrapped. So..here goes a more conventional version 2.

The quick version is I got out of HS, graduated from ISU in ’66, went into the army, went to work, got married 2 too many times, had 3 kids..3 g-kids, and I’m still alive. whew..that wasn’t so bad after all, for more details go to website www.lazier.heisalive.butnooneknows.com.net.org.bs. Now, as my favorite broadcaster says ….the rest of the story.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away

After HS, I went to ISU, majored in business and fraternity (SIG EP) and somehow got out in ’66. Joined the army, or they would have got me anyway, and went to officer candidate school. my plans were to get in and out ASAP, which I did. However, the last year ‘68/’69 was spent with the 1st Infantry Division in Vietnam. I received 2 bronze stars, army commendation medal, and 2 air medals for my tour. I was a First LT infantry platoon leader.

After that, I settled in Dallas as my wife was from Texas. We had 3 children, who have produced 3 grand children so far. My daughter Laura and son Randy live about 10 minutes from me and daughter Lisa lives in Durham NC with husband Captain Chip Daniels.

I went to work for Ross Perot at EDS in ’69 and have been in the computer industry ever since. The last 22 in software sales. During my career I have stayed in the DFW/FW area all along with the last 8 in Fort Worth, which is my favorite. I have managed two divorces so far and would be alone if it weren’t for Sadie, the best friend a man can have. Part Lab and Border Collie, Sadie is soooooo smart and pretty with a huge vocabulary. (we talk a lot).

Life is good!!!

I have accomplished my life’s dream of living on the golf course. I live on number 5 at Woodhaven CC, which I’ve belonged for 27 years. Golf is still my number one fun thing to do and mange a single digit handicap. Number 2 thing to do is go to the lake for boating and fishing. I have a small place on a beautiful secret lake about an hour from the house. Note…I have more than enough room for anyone who wants to visit Ft. Worth. I’m very thankful for my health, staying in shape, my family, lack of memory, golf and martini’s.
Thanks to Chuck for the website, Sharon for her efforts…wish I could be there for the reunion.
